"History of Ludington and Wilson, 1875 to 1962" by Verda Ketchum Macomber PREFACE
A surprising number of people have contributed their time and efforts with information for the writing of this term paper. I am grateful to them. I have had many interesting interviews with very interesting people. I have renewed many old acquaintances. There is probably much more that can be written, for there are many more I should like to have visited. Maybe someday I will add to this. I have recieved some valuable materials from the office of the County Superintendent of Schools. Marion Starck, from the County Clerks Office gave me valuable information on statistics recorded there. To the people who are interested in the local histories of Eau Claire County and the immediate townships of Wilson and Ludington, I dedicate this paper. |
