"History of Eau Claire County Wisconsin, 1914, Past and Present" Chapter 7 - Townships by Frank L. Clark Clear Creek Township (-As transcribed from page 41) Clear Creek Township was organized in 1882, and is strictly agricultural. It contains thirty-six square miles and is bounded on the north by the towns of Washington and Lincoln, on the south by Trempealeau county, on the east by the town of Otter Creek and on the west by Pleasant Valley. The northern half is watered by Clear, Bear's and Otter creeks; its population, according to the census returns of 1910, are 728. |
