Other business news from Augusta in 1932:
  • 31 March -- Mr. George WIESNER has moved his variety store to the building on the south side of Lincoln Street, formerly occupied by T. F. BOEHRER'S Jewelry Store.
  • 31 March -- Melvin MYRIN, welder, has now moved into his new quarters across from the SCHNEIDER garage.  This is the former engine house of the feed mill on the corner of Stone and Washington Streets.
  • 7 July -- A false rumor has been going around about short weight of butter at the Russell's Corners Creamery.  The inspectors were in Augusta a short time ago and weighed many pounds of butter at all local stores, finding most pounds over weight by at least one ounce and none under 16 ounces.
  • 4 August -- Mr. Chris GREGERSON has rented the building formerly occupied by J. C. MILLER and now owned by Chas. REDMOND.  He will be ready to serve gas and oil and feeds on Friday.
